I was robbed... last Friday 2 Nov 2007

I was robbed last Friday. It was a bad experience for me, I never thought this things will happened to me.
I just want to share my experience with all.

Last Friday, 2 November 2007, I was robbed by a gang of (i believe is Indonesians) while on my way back home from office. It was about 9.30p.m + - and I was just slowing down & stop at the traffic light at Phileo Damansara 2, PJ. My car was the last 1 and there are a few other cars in front of me & on my right side. When I stop and look to the front, i saw a motorcycle with 2 people on it just stop in front of me & looking at me suspiciously, I thought something is wrong, my 1st reaction is to turn to my left on my front passenger window. There's another guy standing beside my window and another motorcycle at the side. My door was locked & i was shocked & stunned, I can't even honk or shout. I just saw that guy used something heavy to smashed my front passenger window & grab my bag. I struggle with him when he grab my bag but he manage 2 pull it away. They sped away later, making a U-turn at the traffic light. I couldn't even remember their plat no., I just know they use normal motorcycle like Yamaha/suzuki/Honda cup. I didn't even stop & get out of my car, what I know is to drive straight to a police station at my area, SS2 to make a police report and cancel all my cards & SIM card.

I lost my IC, driving license, ATM cards, digital camera, thumbdrive, handphone, crystal, house keys, passport photos, Biodisc & all my cash. The next day, someone found my handbag dumped outside Andalucia Condominium in Pantai Dalam Area. I went to recover my bag, they took all the valuables stuff, only left my business cards, some of my make-up stuff, my membership card, my credit cards & my driving license (old).

The lesson that I learned is to take extra precaution while driving alone at night. I'm actually very tired on that night & my mind seems flying away & not alert. I'm responsible for my safety & my life. And don't ever put your handbag at a visible spot in your car. It is my fault to put my bag on the front passenger seat.

I thank god that I'm alright and I'm not hurt. I urge everyone to take care of yourself especially when driving alone at night.

These robbers work in a group of 4 in 2 motorcycles. Please b extra careful & more alert while driving. Anyone out there who saw this incident, please make a police report. This is applicable for those who are in Malaysia.

Recently crime rate has been on the rising trend. I have a lot of my girlfriends who are victims of snatch-theft. Authorities, please do something .......
