J.CO Donuts

Finally, i gt the chance 2 buy the J.Co donuts without having to queue... he he he. Was at Pavillion yesterday meeting a potential client, passed by the outlet - the first time i saw no queue... Yeah.... I can buy the donuts without having 2 queue. So i went in & choose 6 flavours. In total, i think they hv no less than 20 types...

There's donut craze here in M'sia..... the other popular brand is Big Apple. Last time before Big Apple & J.Co came onboard, the popular one were Dunkin Donut. Nowadays, everywhere u go that u can see a donut store, it'll be packed with ppl. Really crazy la.... 6 pieces costs me RM12.50. Expensive man.. Anyway, my curiosity gt the better of me 2 try out the donuts... I dun really fancy them but for me it's quite okla... at last i've tasted both Big Apple & J.Co

Last Sunday I went to my friend's wedding dinner at Tropicana Golf & Country Resort. I went there alone & manage 2 meet up with 1 of my fren whom i did not met for the past 5 years.

There's another guy which I know from my GEP days at AIA 6 years + ago. Wedding invitation card stated it started at 7p.m but we waited for more than 1 & 1/2 hours before the dinner being served. Man.... I'm hungry la... I think it's quite a norm in KL for wedding dinner to start late. I've been to many wedding dinners in KL - usually the dinner were served about 1 1/2 hrs later than the stated time. This is especially for Chinese wedding dinner. It's such a bad habit. This is what I do to pass time while waiting for the food...

Well this is the part of wedding.

Next is the gathering which I planned earlier 2 celebrate Li Yenn's belated birthday... in the end only few turned up... see pic. We hv dinner at Wendy's burger ( fast food) - my fren Li Yenn & myself haven't eaten there coz it's quite new in Malaysia (apparently the fast food join used to be operating in M'sia in the past but closed down - now it reopened) so we decided to hv dinner there. But I found out that the food there doesn't taste good... I give it 5/10. Lousy lousy..... Happy Belated Birthday Li Yenn

My mission in TI...
1. Renew my passport Yes Done liao - YIPPIE

2. See dr. - regarding my non-stop period... apparently it stop already NOT DONE, clinic not open, went 2 another clinic too many ppl. I can't wait anymore so planning 2 come back 2 KL & go 2 c the dr. which was recommended by my fren

3. go 2 bank - change my signature DONE - as well as transfer 2 FD a/c.

4. if gt time, see dentist. NOT DONE.. really hv 2 c him coz i know my teeth is not in good condition anymore - gt hole ... i keep on procastinating.

5. What else? of course spend time with my parents.... THIS ONE IS THE BEST.. I've been spending valuable time with my parents...$$$$ Cannot buy 1.

So now am back at KL & gotta work... Sigh....

Besides item 5 which is priceless, all others are tagged with a price. Who says $$$ is not important.... $$$$ come 2 me, $$$$ come 2 me.

Going green with Canon

Last Sunday, I went tree planting with Canon under the Canon Goes Green project. Registration starts from 7.30a.m onwards. I got an invite from my sis & I sign up for it. Surprisingly, i saw many many people were there too, probably more than 2500 partipants from all walks of life, young, old, male, female, differents races etc come together for this environmental friendly activities. Got a green T-shirt coz we are going green hence we get this green T-shirt & some other freebies + free food, free toilet.....I lost count of how many trees i planted. I was initially in Group 1 but later i changed to Group 5 together with my sis. Look at the pics below.....tree planting process ....

I'm going for tree planting this Sunday

Today, I received an email from Betty Leo, PIC for Canon Goes Green updating me on the event this Sunday, I'll be in Group 1 - Cengal. But I don't have any green shirt wor....Yes, I am going for tree planting. It's been quite awhile since I'm invloved in any outdoor activities. My jogging regime has been put on hold for a few months already. It's time to restart my keeping fit plan again. Anyway, I'll update more on the event after this Sunday...if possible with pics.
