Oh....how i miss beaches.....sandy white beaches. It's been quite awhile since I went to any beaches. Yesterday I went to Port Dickson to visit my customers & as I drove along the coastal road I saw a long stretch of beaches.....So nice, suddenly I feel like going to beaches again... Good sunny weather & all the coconut trees. I need a holiday & it must be to beaches. Well now I need to travel to Seremban, PD & Melaka to service my customers - some changes in my portfolio which I think it's good coz now i can travel. Even though it's for business but at least I got to explore these places which I hardly will explore on my own. Thank you for the opportunity & I hope the sales will increase soon.
Now I need to plan for my beach holidays....

My first Famine 30 hours - 22 - 23 August 2009
This post is way too late, supposed to be up by August but been too busy & no mood to write about it till now…
Date: 22 - 23 August 2009
Event: Famine 30 hours Camp 2009
This is the 10th year World Vision organized the Famine 30 Hours camp in Malaysia & this is my first year participating in the Famine Camp. Probably because I always think of joining this camp, I finally get to know that Jessica is organizing one for her Vanness Wu Fan Club members this year. She invited me to participate in the camp even though I’m not a member of the Vanness Wu Fan Club. I asked another friend to join this camp together. She also has been thinking to join the camp for some time. Both of us registered & we raised funds for the partner organizations that World Vision worked together.
I drove to our camp centre after work on 22 August 2009. Though registration starts from 12p.m, I only manage to reached the centre about 2.45p.m but I start fasting from 12p.m onwards. Due to the wide outbreak of H1N1 virus, we take extra precaution to measure our body temperature & always use the antiseptic lotion to make sure that we are free from virus. We did clean-up the place so that we can sleep at night After the cleaning & washing, we proceed to have our games section – it’s called Slumstar. It reminded me of the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Well by playing this game, I understand how people struggle to make ends meet in their life. Not everyone is blessed with good health & body – this makes them difficult to make ends meet & there were unscrupulous people out there who bully this unfortunate group f people. It’s tough to produce those little stars with newspaper coz the material is very thin.
Our day & night is filled with activities so that our craving for food is diverted. At night we watched a movie called Blood Diamond. It was a movie where the Western people exploited the African people to get the diamonds there. I don’t really get the message of this movie & I don’t really like to watch this type of movie genre – not my cup of tea. By the time this movie ended, I have zzzzzz…..
The next morning, we woke up early, clean up the place & took a group photo together before we packed off to Stadium Bukit Jalil. The last 6 hours countdown was done in a big group with other DIY camps around Malaysia. The get-together of all the DIY camps amounted to almost 8000+ people all over Malaysia, some were from Klang, Ipoh, Penang, Johor, Pahang etc. It’s so heartwarming to see so many people from all over Malaysia gather for a good cause & of course some fun. We were being entertained by our local artistes such as Michael Wong, Daniel Lee, Francesca Peter, some others local singers. Of course the highlight is the Final Countdown with the special guests, A Mei all the way from Taiwan….She brings the house down. OMG….you should see the crowd dancing & the energy is so high that it doesn’t seem that we’re on fasting for 30 hours….
All in, it was a great weekend with all the great people who cares for other people & give all the time. I already thinking of next year Famine 30hrs if there’s 1.
