Updates on FHM 2009

We are counting down the days to FHM 2009.....about 8 days to go. Preparation for finished products started......We are showcasing so many products....besides chocolates, we have bread counter, cake counter, gelato counter, sugar cane counter, cake deco counter, desserts counter, cocktail counter.....so many products. Each of us are assigned a specific counter to take care. So many designs & concept being discussed to get the best presentation during the FHM. By today, my counter concept has been approved & voila...can proceed to do other things. Our principals from overseas will start arriving from next week onwards for the preparations......Will post some pics after the event....

Beautiful Broga Hill

This post was about 2 months plus after my trip. My trip was on 1 May 2009 which happens to be Labour Day, a public holiday in Malaysia. This trip has been planned 2 months earlier in March but was postponed due to some reasons....Main reason for me to check out this place is it's so beautiful... saw pics posted by friends on Facebook hence wanted to check out myself. The place is located near Semenyih to the south of Kuala Lumpur. We started our journey early in the morning about 6.30a.m... Journey from KL to Broga took us about 45 minutes or so. Reached there about 7.15a.m, waited for my friend who is coming from Kajang... he lost his way ha ha... We started climbing about 7.30a.m, too late for sunrise. The climb was not so tough, took us about 2 hour plus to reach the peak coz we stop quite often for photo shoot along the climb up. What really surprised me is the amount of people climbing up Broga Hill... There were like hundreds & hundreds of them. We were amongst the last few groups to climb up. By the time we climb down, it's about noon already.... went to get some food to ease our hunger.. we used up most of our energy climbing. After having our food, we check out another interesting place nearby which is a Chinese Taoist temple called 石哪督。Many people came here to pray....

Went back after this & was so tired, reached my house about 6p.m....But it was a satisfying trip after all. Love to go back again someday for the scenery & the beautiful view. Hope it'll be still as beautiful as it is & not polluted.

FHM 2009

Special Grand Cru packaging

In 2 weeks time, I'll be participating in FHM 2009 or Food & Hotel Malaysia 2009 which will be held in KL Convention Centre. This is the largest food fair in Malaysia which is held once in 2 years. My whole company is going all out for this exhibition & I'll be the chocolate girl... ha h aha.. I'm in-charge of Max Felchlin brand from Switzerland which is famous for chocolates. Do come & visit me during the fair from 11 August - 14 August 2009. More updates soon...

Manchester United team in town

Manchester United football team is in Kuala Lumpur for their pre-season Asian tour. They have a friendly game with Malaysia team selection tonight. I guess the game has just concluded not long ago. Many die-hard fans came to watched the team in action live at Bukit Jalil National Stadium. But the funny thing is many supporters came to support Manchester United & not Malaysia team.... Where is our patriotism? I feel is kinda funny that a game which is held in Malaysia have plenty of supporters/fans who support & cheer for a foreign football club.....Such is the power/charm of Manchester United football star.... many fans even went to KLIA to welcome the team. Their popularity scale is even greater than movie stars/ singers...I'm not a MAN U fan. Which football team is your favourite?

Famine 30 hours - 22 - 23 August 2009

Yeah! I'm going for this Famine 30hours event....I have qualified.....But i don't know if i can contained my hunger for 30 hours without eating solid foods coz I ate a lot. After having breakfast.....about 2 - 3 hours later, i start getting hungry again... OMG! Must practise eating lesser & lesser. So excited .... been dreaming of joining this since many many years ago.....i realised this year i've done many many activities/event which i wanted to do/organised since many many years ago.....Bravo!! Keep on improving & achieving greater heights every day.

I'm moving .... to a bigger room

I'm moving to the master bedroom now ..... much much bigger space to store my ever growing possessions..... i got the tendency to keep things even though i do not need them....HOW TO GET RID OF OLD STUFF? I'm very sentimental, like to keep my stuff even though i do not need them anymore, that's why my assets ever growing..... Sigh! have to continue to unpacked things..... can't imagine if i moved house next time......
