New Year Countdown Parties 31 Dec 2008

Tommorrow is the last day of year 2008. There are many new year countdown parties around Klang Valley - Bukit Bintang, Sungai Wang & Times Square, Dataran Merdeka, KLCC, 1 Utama, The Curve, Sunway Pyramid etc.

I plan to go to The Curve coz it's nearer 2 my house. I used to go countdown every year since I came to KL to study almost 10 years ago. I have forgotten when was my last countdown - probably 2 or 3 years ago. This year I feel like going for countdown again.

Every venue has it's own attractions & special programs - usually with singer performance, street carnival etc. The most attractive event of the night will be the fireworks which lights up the sky. Really looking forward for tomorrow - even though i know there'll be lots of people & traffic jam, I still wanna go.

Happy New Year - early wishes from me to all the members & artistes in AnD.

Cheers,

My first day at Hong Kong - 3rd Dec 2008. Supposedly meeting up with AC100 on Thursday, however due to some changes of our schedule, I bring forward to Day 1 itself. And indeed it was a good move coz we're both so lucky - got a lucky draw voucher on the 1st day & 1st time in HK. Wow, What a great start of my journey here. AC100 have blogged about it so I just post some of the photos that we took on the day. Enjoy the pics

NTV7 Concert 2nite - 13 December 2008 @ Padang Timur, PJ

NTV7 organised a free concert 2nite at Padang Timur PJ. This concert features some of the popular singers from HK, Taiwan, Singapore & Malaysia. Some of the more popular ones are JJ Lin (AnD artiste), Jam Hsiao, Vincy, Janice, Harlem Yu, Emil Chau, Fan Wei Qi, Manhand, Desiree, Dannyone & a few others. Concert has ended at 1130hrs. The highlight is Harlem, he's d last 2 perform & definitely the most entertaining one. Just love him. He just launched an album recently.
Initially thought of going 2 Padang Timur 2 watch live coz it's quite near 2 my place. However no kaki 2 go 2gether so choose 2 stay in & watch live teleecast from 2 the comfort of my home. I remember few months ago, my sis & myself travelled more than 2 hours 2 Malacca for the 8TV Summer Live concert. V got free VIP tickets from my uncle. Thought that with VIP tickets, we have a seat & will be at the front of the stage. Mana tau, they hv another VVIP area in front. We were late so when we reached there, It's full of people already. N we gotta stand the whole night. It's kinda suffering coz all the people standing in front of us were so tall. Malaccans are tall. N we spend about 3hrs plus standing & i think my.neck grows longer liao. We have Shown Luo, Jam Hsiao, Jolin Tsai, Rainie Young, Stanley Huang & our local singers. N 3 of us were the centre of attraction coz we were d only one wearing cowboy hats, which we bought earlier @ Jonker Street. See the pics..... V are damn tired of all the travelling but it's an experience. We reached home about 3a.m & all of us terus pengsan. Salute my sis who did all d driving.
