I'm back to my hometown for the Chinese New Year celebrations. Later will be going out for reunion dinner with my extended family, this is the second year we have so many relatives together for the reunion dinner. When I was very young, I remember going back to my grandma's house for the reunion dinner. Many many years later, we have our own reunion dinner at my own house with just my parents & my sisters - this has been on-going for many many years till last year when we started to have extended family dinner again. Look at how's things has changed over the years. I'm looking forward for a grand reunion dinner again. And I want to wish everyone Gong Xi Fa Cai & Happy New Year!!!! HUAT AHHH......

Traffic from the city centre back to my hometown is extremely heavy.....looks like everyone is making the exodus out from the city centre to their respective hometown. It's worth all the effort coz Chinese New Year is about togetherness & family warmth. So I hope everyone have a great celebrations.

Happy New Year 2012.....It's been a long long time since I last blog about anything.....Been busy, tired, lazy & not in the mood of blogging recently....

Anyway, will start to blog again....

Recently, my boss asked me a question......what do you feel grateful in 2011?

My answer is I'm grateful because I still have a healthy body....There was some health symptoms & alert that make me realised that health is important & this makes me change my diet & lifestyle....THANK YOU FOR THAT! And I'm grateful that all my family members also still healthy......WELL, I think.....we should be grateful that we are still living everyday. Let's live our fullest life!

Last year my boss said that if we hit target this year, will organise a company trip to Beijing. However, this year he said the trip to be postponed to next year. Actually I'm not so keen to go Beijing because I've been there in year 2005, I prefer if the trip is to somewhere I've never been before. But now, I doubt if he will honour his words coz he keeps on changing his mind etc....Anyway, I don't care...coz I think if the trip is on, it's a bonus to me.

Well, let me share some of my Beijing photos back in 2005. I remember the first day we touched down, the temperature soared up to 40 degrees, the highest in 40 years. It was in June 2005 & i bought this package during MATTA FAIR. At that time, I worked in a travel agency. The package is quite cheap only costs each of us RM1500++, that's why I grabbed it & I went with 1 of my sister. She still studying in Uni at that time. Since this is a group tour, we have another maybe 15 travel companions. Our group is really fun group. I remember in our group - we have 1 Indian couple, 1 mother & daughter pair, 1 uncle & auntie pair, 2 young Chinese couple, 1 family which consists of parents & daughter & son-in-law. Even though we do not know each other but we having fun travelling together.

Buying a cheap package comes with some consequences - haha....it's means shopping shopping & shopping...The tour guide & tour leader will bring you to many places to buy, buy & buy as they earned commission by bringing tourists to buy products from the shop. Everyday they bring us to different shops - I remember the first stop is Chinese Tea & I've bought some expensive tea which till now still haven't finished drinking. They also brought us to jade shop, pearl shop, Chinese medicine shop - Bao Fu Ling (the famous one) & another shop (which I don't know the name) but I remember it's situated inside the Confucious Temple. And also silk & some Chinese deco(don't know what it's called in English) but in Chinese is called as 京泰蓝(don't know my translation in Chinese is correct or not) but it sounds like this. It's a good experience for me - I remind myself not to buy so much on my next holidays coz it's just wasting $$$$$....

I remember I wrote Halo September not too long ago....now already it's October....Phew...Time Flies.....Well, Q3 is not exactly a good period for me as too many incidents happened. I injured myself while doing yoga, I slipped again, I didn't hit my sales target & sales dropped a lot. My health got worse, hormone imbalanced, stress level up, feel very down & demotivated.......OMG!!!How can this happened to me. For people who do not know me really well, they thought I'm always a HAPPY GO LUCKY person....But IN ACTUAL FACT....I"M NOT!!! I hope the past will be the past & will always look for better FUTURE.....Let's GO ALL OUT for the LAST QUARTER of 2011 & achieve our goals....your goals & my goals as well!!

Good thing is all this can be improved with hardwork, discipline, perserverance, confidence, can do attitude. positive mind & outlook & what else?

Beautiful sunset & sunrise @ BALI

Recently, just came back from BALI & absolutely LOVING IT....Bali is a very big island in Indonesia. It's quite near to Australia. The uniqueness about Bali is that most of the populations there are Hindus not Muslims. FYI, Indonesia is the most populous Muslim nation. I found that the people there is warm & friendly & there're many beautiful & interesting places to visit. And many cultural related activities all day long. Still there are many tourist there even after the bombing incidents which happened some years ago. In comparison with Phuket, Phuket is infested with more nightlife & prostitution whereas Bali is more for family holidays & honeymoon couples.

The best thing I found out in Bali is there are many good spots to watch sunset & sunrise. The first day we arrived, we got the chance to watch a beautiful SUNSET in Kuta. 2 days later, we were heading to Lovina area to watch dolphins, kinda missed the SUNSET coz we reached there about 6plus in the evening. But we were compensated with a great SUNRISE the day after when we went out to hunt dolphin (actually is to see dolphins but with so many boats around hunting the dolphins, I guess the dolphins must be too scared to come out but yet we managed to see a few times) BONUS BONUS!! Thereafter, we went watch SUNSET in Tanah Lot but unfortunately it is too crowded & cloudy. TANAH LOT is a MUST VISIT place in BALI - I think the MOST POPULAR TOURIST SPOT in BALI. The next day, we went to ULUWATU as suggested by the driver, it's a better spot than TANAH LOT to watch beautiful SUNSET! Indeed it was....But to go there, we have to becareful of all the monkeys around there as they will snatch your belongings like camera, spectacles, earrings & all dangling things. I was a victim too - the monkeys just jumped towards me & snatched my keychain. I was so shocked that I just stunned there. Luckily I kept my camera & other things safely in my bag. I even took off my spectacles & keep it inside my bag - in case the naughty monkeys decided to snatched it away from me. I was told these monkeys were being trained to snatch away people's thing & in order to claim back your stuff, you need to pay a certain amount to the caretaker. HHmmmm...very bad of them doing this.

All in - we spend 6 days in BALI & we later flew to BANDUNG before heading back to KL. I would say BALI is a great place for holidays if you like the SEA, SUN, BEACHES, TEMPLES, CULTURAL & nit forgetting their SPA.

Time just flies....It's already September 2011. Another 3 months plus for us to achieve our set goals in 2011. Haven't been blogging lately...too tired & no inspiration to write. Will be blogging about my recent trip to Bali & Bandung soon & some recent important event that happened recently.

Have you achieve 75% of your said goals this year? If not, we have to GAMBATE!!!!! Life is like fireworks.....sparkling bright, full of life & energy........ After months of feeling down, I'm up again now....Probably it's due to hormone imbalance.....Thanks to August, I always love August as August always bring me good news & positive energy. For the rest of 2011, GAMBATE!!! Go all out to achieve our goals!!!

Bali - I love Bali

New addiction - K-drama & Ha Ji Won

Lately have been hooked to K-drama especially Secret Garden......now got a new idol which is Ha Ji Won. Just love her acting & her character - always so humble & respectful to others. And started to take note of the Korean entertainment industry - their industry is so vibrant & different. It's a very big industry there with lots of job especially production crew. When I watched the "behind the screen" of the drama, I can see for a drama to be made, they have 10 times more production crew working round the clock. And the attitude of the actors & actresses is just amazing.....How they study a character & immersed themselves into the role is really superb - they went for training, they purposely lose weight, gain weight etc.... WOW & almost all their actors & actresses graduated from university with either a performing arts degree, music & related courses.....

Yesterday was a very tense day in KL due to the Bersih Rally. Most of the major roads leading to the city centre was closed & road blocks was everywhere. There's a massive jam just after the toll from my housing area due to road block. Since Friday midnite, the traffic already built-up. I was late for work on Saturday. I reached office at 10a.m - late 2 hrs. I have to make a U-turn back, waited about 1 hrs before i can make a U-turn, the distance is just 500m. My parents were so worried about us & called us to to check whether we are safe & advised us not to go out. My sister told me that most of her friend's parents also did that. You see, we are from outstation, we only work in KL. In times like this, really feel want to be with my family.

With all the road closure & road block by the police, it still cannot control thousands of demonstrators of managed to get to the city centre & do their marching to the stadium. The willpower is really strong to pass on the message of a clean & transparent voting system in Malaysia.

For those who do not know what is BERSIH, please check on wikipedia...WOW, they are damned fast to add into wikipedia.

Injured my back doing yoga

I've injured my back after my yoga session. This happens after I did my plough - probably I've overstretch my back. I felt very sore & pain after that. Sob sob...

Date: 5 Jul 2011, noon

I went to see doctor & told him about the pain & soreness. After checking, he told me might be due to torn muscle. Asked me to give it 5 days to heal & prescribe me with painkillers & muscle relax pills & cream. I felt the pain sometimes & not all the time especially if it involves lots of movement like bending down & up. Hopefully it'll heal up soon.

So no yoga & heavy exercise for me this month. Time to take a break for awhile.

I need another holidays to rejuvenate but this time no more adventure holidays coz my body can't take it anymore.....This will be more relaxing trip & I purposely book during my birthday.....A birthday gift for myself. After this trip, it's time for serious planning on my life direction.....Cannot waste more time.....Good nite everyone.....My blog is not so updated now but I'll share more on my travels here.

Adventure 2011: Mulu Pinnacles & Show Caves

I've came back from my adventure about more than a week ago but still cherished every moment spent there. I did not make it to the top of Pinnacles, as a consolation I make it through halfway up to 1200m. To view the magnifcent/awesome view of Pinnacles, we need to climb up to 2400m. It was tough for me. Weeks before the adventure, I already start worrying about the climb as I'm not in a good condition...my heel is aching & my feet is weak & easily stress out due to overuse. 1 week before the adventure, I joined my group of friends to hike Gunung Datuk but it was too tough for me, I almost wanted to give up before reaching the top. When I came back, my whole body & leg is in pain for a few days.....That's when I realised I might not be able to make it due to my physical & health condition. But it was a fun & adventurous journey to me - this is not a rest & relax trip coz we need to walk everyday......I think for the whole duration of this trip, we have walked more than 50km......I feel my leg not belonging to me anymore. I don't know whether I'll be going back to conquer Pinnacles but I know I need to cure my aching heel & get fit before I embark on my next adventure trip. I've learned from my fellow group member, it's not about reaching the top that matters, it's the team spirit & the experience of hiking that matters. We have to take good care of ourselves & not let us become a burden to our team members. Whatever it is, safety is no. 1. Besides Pinnacles, we also visited 4 show caves which is Deer Cave, Wind Cave, Lang Cave, Clearwater Cave. Each 1 of them with their own characteristic & charm. And we also got to witness the amazing exodus of bat from the Deer Cave in the evening. We are lucky to have view it as the bats will only come out when it's not raining. ....Photos will tell you more.....I grabbed some photos from my friends camera.....hehe

The best present that I get from this trip is a group of friends who loves outdoor, loves life, enthusiastic, positive & very OOOmmmmppph all the way. Most important they were helpful & won't leave me at the back. I'm so touched with their spirits & energy. It's an honour to know all of u....some old friends & some new friends. Never judge a book by it's cover & never judge a person by their look. We need to get to know them better. Everyday is a new discovery to me, every journey I walked, is also a new experience for me...something that only myself know & valued.

Countdown to my next adventure Mulu Pinnacles 2011

Time really flies.....it's another week before I embark on my 2011 Adventure Trip to the Mulu National Park & Pinnacles Challenge. What I heard from people who have completed this is Pinnacles is much much more difficult than Kinabalu Summit. Ooucchhh!!! Not too good news for me as I'm not always the fittest. But I did went for trainings now & then. Still worried but at the same time excited!!! WOOOHOOO......Pinnacles here I come.....GAMBATE!! I want to strike off another goal achieved in my 2011 Goal List!!! Wish me luck!!!

Finally I did it......It was a tough hike for me.....I feel my whole body aching today.

I'm using all my energy to conquered it. Very physically drained after the hike.....But with lots of satisfaction.... And I personally feel it's quite dangerous due to the steepness & because it's all rocks. You can see crystals too...

This is part of my training for my next adventure - Conquering Mt. Api or Pinnacles at Mulu Caves. Life is an adventure....Enjoy it.....

It's MATTA FAIR again

This weekend is MATTA FAIR. Most probably will check out some ground packages there for my upcoming trip. Well, recently feel kind of down & negative due to several reasons - maybe due to all those disasters happening around the world. Doesn't feel safe to travel now as earthquakes is happening like nobody business. But according to news, MATTA FAIR as usual is crowded with people so I should be also excited to travel. Live LIFE TO THE FULLEST coz we don't know what will happen tomorrow!!! Appreciate for everything that I have now....THANK YOU

My new toy....HTC Desire HD

After waiting for so long, finally I bought myself a new phone HTC Desire HD. Been wanting an Iphone but the waiting just doesn't worth it. They only have limited stocks available daily & usually will sold out before noon.....The popularity never fades...haha! I tried my luck few times with the Iphone but no result hence I decided to switched to HTC Deisre HD. Now time to explore it....Looks like I'm not smart enough to use a smart phone. I've signed up for training for my HTC Smartphone. Hopefully I'll outsmart my Desire soon...

After Tiger, here come the Rabbit. This year we have our reunion dinner with our extended family. As long as I can remember we have been having our own immediate family reunion for many many years. In my memory, we used to go back to Grandma's house when I was still very very young. So this year is special as we gather for our reunion dinner at a local restaurant. All in we have 3 tables.

This year my motto is to give more & in return will receive even more.....Talk less & action more. I hope I can achieve this. This year we have major floods in southern part of Peninsular Malaysia & it somehow affects the celebration. Weather before the CNY is always gloomy with non-stop rain. Thank God, it stops now & we were greeted by the bright sunny sun when we reached my hometown. Time passes so fast, tomorrow I'm staring work again, the holidays are over & now time to work work work work & work.

BTW, my house almost completed....maybe in another 3 - 4 months time the CF will be ready. And this year, the flower did not blossomed like last year where it i is in full bloom - I think probably due to the weather too.

I hope all of us will continue to HUAT into the year of RABBIT & everyone of us will be blessed with good health & showered with love, happiness & prosperity.

Cleaning & clearing old junks

I just realised that I like to keep so many junks.....everytime when i cleaned my room .... i throw away minimum 1 bag of old junks....be it old receipts, flyers, brochures, statements, magazines etc. I don't know why I always like to keep these stuff for a few years & then throw it away few years later or go for recycle. SIGH!!! Bad habit.....

How about u? Do u like to keep things & then only realised few years later that these things no longer important & can be thrown or given away?

I wish I do not need to do this in the future......why keeping them when u won't be using them anyway???

Anyway, Chinese New Year is around the corner.....Wish everyone who's celebrating A HAPPY & PROSPEROUS CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Chinese New Year is around the corner again

In less than 2 weeks time, we are celebrating Chinese New Year for 2011. It's time to clean-up the house, the room, go shopping, bake cookies etc for CNY....

Year 2010 has passed so fast....probably because it has been an eventful year....now we are going to 2011. Time just passed by so fast, sometimes it's so scary thinking of it...It means I'm getting older by the day....going into mid-30s category soon......HUH!!! This is the peak period of my life - must be enjoying every minute of it!!!

And now, I'm in the mood of shopping......shopping shopping & shopping....

I got my first challenge of year 2011 - to do headstand

I've been learning yoga for quite some time already & still not ready for headstand.

This year is the year to challenge myself to do it & practise it until it become perfect....

Benefits

The headstand increases circulation to the brain, which causes improved brain function (intelligence and memory) and increased vitality and confidence.
It improves many ailments, such as nervousness, tension, fatigue, sleeplessness, dullness, fear, poor blood circulation, bad memory, asthma, headaches, constipation, congested throat, liver or spleen, for female disorders, the initial stages of eye and nose troubles, and general lack of energy, vitality or self confidence.
It stimulates four of the most important endocrine glands - the pituitary, the pineal, the thyroid, and the parathyroid glands that are responsible for our very existence, for they keep the body mechanism in good working order. Pituitary gland is called the master gland of the body. As a consequence, the practice of the headstand helps us to get relief from many of our troubles, physical as well as mental, or to prevent them. It has a very beneficial effect on the whole body.
It promotes hair growth by increasing circulation to the scalp.
It helps to put the spine into correct alignment.
It restores the position of vital organs by reversing gravity.
The quality of sleep is improved. Poor sleep is often due to an excess of nerve impulses from the reticular formation to the cerebral cortex in the brain. The headstand causes an increase in circulation to the neck, which stimulates the baroreceptors in the neck. 2010 in review

Another 5 days to 2011, it's time for me to review 2010 achievement. So far, 2010 has been a great year for me because I have achieved some major goals set in 2009.

I bought a house with my sister early this year, still under construction - almost completed - most probably can move-in by next half of 2011. I've to thank my sister who give me a deadline to source around for a house, since we cannot find a suitable house within our budget, we decided to buy this house which is located further away from city centre but at last we have our own place. Looking forward for designing & decorating the interior of our house. 2011 Plan in progess now.

I successfully climbed up to the peak of Mount Kinabalu in 1 May 2010. I've been wanting to scale up the highest peak of South East Asia for the last few years. Everytime I saw my friends came back & share their experiences, it fuels up my desire to conquered it. At last I make it to the top with really sheer determination & will power. I make it to the top even though I'm the last to reached the top I feel very satisfied. I realised that most of the time, I gave up before I pushed myself to the limit. After conquering the top, I realised that my determination & will power can get me to wherever I want to go....Just FOCUS on it.

I've organised many many hiking trips for training purposes for my friends & myself. Actually I love to organise for events, outings etc so this year I've taken initiative to organise many outings for my friends.

I've participated in MY FM 100 Plus Outdo Yourself Challenge for the first time with my sisters. First time participating in a radio station organised challenge.

In terms of career, I feel like I'm much more in control now compared to before. Even though no promotion but I'm happy with my progress - Hopefully next year will be a great year for me in my career development. More challenge & More $$$. Cross my finger here.

As for relationship, I've yet to find the special someone but I keep my heart open - hopefully I'll meet the special one soon.

Family relationship has been good - spending more quality time with my family & seek to understand them more. Less quarrel & more caring. Hopefully next year will be better & look forward for my family travel in February 2011. No quarrel please.

Of course I still need to keep on improving myself to be a better person. I've make some mistakes & I've learned from it. Everyone makes mistakes & no one is perfect, that's my our lives more exciting coz life is always full of ups & down & we learned to be a better person by making mistakes.

With my colleagues & their families, & a few of my travel buddies, we make a road trip to Sekinchan for the fresh seafood & also the paddy field (but we missed the paddy field coz it's off the harvesting season. It's Public Holiday in Malaysia & we have 2 days off on Friday & Saturday so we decided to travel up north to my hometown, Teluk Intan.

Phew......Time passes so fast...now in the last month of 2010. 2011 is fast approaching, have you set your new target/goal? Have you achieved all your target/goal this year? Since this is Christmas season, I have this wish to get more bonuses this year....or in another word more $$$$$....

I'm $$$ minded, damn it....have to admit it coz i need lots of $$$$ next year....

House is almost done...need $$$ to do renovation works, buy household items, furniture, kitchen equipment...blah blah blah....

2011 Travel Plan already in planning

Before 2010 close it's chapter, I already planned for my 2011 travel.

Next year I'm going to Medan & Lake Toba in Q1. It's a family trip coz I manage to get cheap package during MATTA Fair. I've been waiting for a family trip coz we seldom travel for holidays...the last one is 2009 year end travel to Langkawi.

Thereafter, I'm going to Mulu Caves in Q2, this trip have been booked earlier when I just came back from Mt. Kinabalu middle of this year. At that time, I'm still very adventurous & I saw the pics of Pinnacles that my sis took when she climbed earlier, I told myself I must go there....Got a few friends who also interested so I booked the flight in June 2010.

Taking advantage of 0 fare promo from Air Asia, recently I have booked flights to Surabaya-Bali-Bandung. This trip is in Q3. It's a round trip from 1 place to another. I've been wanting to go to Bali for many years already...Finally booked a ticket with additional 2 places to visit. WOW!!

There goes all my leave. I think I'm a bad employee coz I've been thinking of holiday plans 1 year in advance but never plan on my work 1 year in advance. Now I even created a group in FB which is called Eat....Play...Love (taking inspiration from the movie Eat...Pray...Love) & I saw this Eat..Play...Love also being used in Air Asia website ( i steal their idea)....hahaha....this is a group who loves to eat & play & loving what they do....More activities to be announced!!!

Meeting with Rafflesia on 5 September 2010

It's a Sunday & here is my journey to say hello to the rafflesia flower (biggest flower in the world)

I always thought that Rafflesia only can be found in Sabah (which is located in East Malaysia) but I saw a picture of my boss with rafflesia. And I asked him where is it? He told me somewhere near Gopeng. So I did some research online and then came an opportunity in a form of group tour to see rafflesia organised by My Travel Kaki. I have to pay RM90 to join this tour.

So on the morning of 5 Sept, I went to the meet-up point at McDonalds Centre Point Bandar Utama & meet up with the organiser & the rest of the group. Our journey started about 7.30a.m and we reached Gopeng about 9 plus in the morning. We met our guide at the entrance of Gua Tempurung & was transported to the Orang Asli Village in Ulu Geroh by their transport - a small lorry. We reached Ulu Geroh after about 45mins ride. And we are told that we have to trek about 1 hr plus to see the rafflesia flower & we are being warned that there will be lots of leeches along the way. Even the trail we use is called "Pacat Trail". So 9 of us with 4 guides from the Orang Asli Community & Riverbug started our journey to meet the Rafflesia. It's a difficult climb for me coz never exercise regularly before the steep climb but i made it at last.......Pictures say a thousand words....looking at the rafflesia make up the day for me ..... all the tiredness gone...BTW, I survived without any bites from the leeches.

I'm impressed with the effort of the conservation project at Ulu Geroh undertaken by several organisations together with the Orang Asli community there.

Cannot focus on my work hence I read back some of my saved articles....I found this in 1 of my files coz few months ago it was a hot topic in my office....the differences of generation & how they behave....I'm proud to say I'm a true GEN-X. Nowadays, working world are dominated by Gen Y which moves on damn fast from 1 office to another office.....

This is a description of GEN-X which I found online (I forgotten where is the source)

Generation X encompasses the 44 to 50 million Americans born between 1965 and 1980. This generation marks the period of birth decline after the baby boom and is significantly smaller than previous and succeeding generations.

Members of Generation X are largely in their 30’s and early 40’s. On the whole, they are more ethnically diverse and better educated than the Baby Boomers. Over 60% of Generation X attended college.

Generation X legal professionals hold junior partner, senior associate, mid-level paralegal and mid-level support staff positions in law firms. They also hold middle-management positions in the government, corporate legal departments and other legal practice environments.

Below are a few common characteristics of Generation X.

Individualistic: Generation X came of age in an era of two-income families, rising divorce rates and a faltering economy. Women were joining the workforce in large numbers, spawning an age of “latch-key” children. As a result, Generation X is independent, resourceful and self-sufficient. In the workplace, Generation X values freedom and responsibility. Many in this generation display a casual disdain for authority and structured work hours. The discovery of a small lump & several swellings on my right neck, head & ear

7 October 2010:

Morning: Discover a small lump on the bottom of my right neck (on shoulder)
Evening: Went to see doctor (GP), notice another swelling on the back of my right ear & some small swellings around the back of my head(right side only)
Dr. said it might due to viral infections & prescribed me with medicines - antibiotic, for swellings & Multivitamin.....taken the medicine for 4 days...no signs of improvements - seems like more swellings appear

11 October 2010:

Morning: Complete my last course of antibiotics, not much improvement
Evening: Went to see doctor again(same one) - he prescribed another course of antibiotic, swelling & Vitamin C. I asked him could it be due to heatiness? Coz I've been travelling & might not drink enough water & the last month have been a hectic month for me with lack of sleep etc. He said maybe & asked me to monitor my situation for another week.....drink at least 3 litres of water/day, eat more fruits & vege & cut-off red meat....If my condition did not improve, I have to see a skin specialist....

Question is should I wait for another week? Should I consult skin specialist or other specialist? Could it be due to long hours of mobile phone usage??? I want to be remain positive..... but somehow I will always think of some worst scenario? It's scary la.......And can't seem to focus on doing anything....that's why I must write down & keep this like a logbook for me....

I found a lump at the right side of my neck.......

This morning, I found out a lump on my right neck....scary...I need to see doctor. But recently I think my health is not in a tip-top condition because I feel pain on my feet...probably due to high acid uric. This condition stays on for about 2 weeks already...I feel it most painful during my travel in Cambodia. Then I told my yoga teacher, she said probably there's too much toxic in my body....I also feel like a lot of gas/winds in my body....Sigh!!! Health is most important aspect in my life now....No healthy body & mind means no active life for me.....I have to watch my diet & nutrition.....I've neglected my health for too long....

My first time there was on 18 August 2010 to celebrate my friend's birthday. There were 3 of us only. I like the deco of this cafe, that's why I wana blog about it & post the pictures. If I'm not mistaken, this cafe has been in operation for a few years already, starting in Niu Zhe Sui & now they have a few other outlets in Sunway Pyramid, KL - somewhere near KLCC & Kota Damansara. I went to the one in Kota Damansara.

The food there is quite good. But I love the ambience more, they have a corner to sell clothings & also some souveniors....Just fall in love with the place....pictures tell you a thousand words....just love it!!!

27 August 2010 - I've completed the full 32 years of life....Turning 33...What a good combination of no.?

First thing to do - change my hairstyle.....My new hairstyle

How come everytime change style also become"bob hair"? But many people commented I look fresher & younger...I also coloured my hair with copper light.

But I feel sucks .... there must be some issues which makes me feel irritated??? I think it must be work-related kua....I must handle this.....I can handle this....Live life to the fullest & stay positive all the time...Turn every challenges into opportunity!!!! GAMBATE!!! Jia you!

Durian Durian

Finally, I got to eat durian after so long. This was in early August before my Lata Berembun trip.
How it started .... An email asking for my climbing members to go for a trip detour & become a durian affair....ha ha ha!!!

So we set a date for our durian affair @ SS2. Initially wanted durian buffet @ RM10/pax but after checking, they only provide Grade B durians so we decided to eat the best in town - ha ha, it's measured by kg. We only eat about 5 - 6 durians in total but already full...The first time I tasted the best durian this year - the "MUSANG KING". It's RM23/kg, we also tasted D24 & not sure about other breed.... We pay about RM20/pax...If I'm not mistaken for the durians...YUMMY>>>value for $$$$

True enough, we only can eat a few pieces & we are all full already....but instead of the Grade B we eat the BEST one & NO REGRETS......All of us went home satisfied & fulfilled!!

Lata Berembun Waterfall 4WD Adventure – 15 August 2010

Last Sunday Adventure with 4WD to Lata Berembun......

I enjoyed many first in this trip:

• First bite by leeches – 1 got 2

Don’t even aware of the first bite – only saw bloods keep on flowing after being told by my friends.

The second bite – I experienced a sharp feeling of itchiness & pain – I saw it on my legs – luckily I’m not too panicky – my sis used the “Minyak Cap Kapak” on the leeches so that it can peel off…from my skin….

• First ride in a hardcore 4 x 4 vehicles

This is not a normal 4 x 4 vehicle, it’s already been modified to suit the tough terrain & looks very masculine… look at the pics to understand it. We have total 8 pax in our car including the driver....Can you imagine us in the ride...

• First trip with more than 15 cars convoy

This trip is organized by my friend & through word of mouth it has spread to so many enthusiasts who wanted to experience the ride & the beautiful waterfall. Imagine more than 15 cars in convoy – many hiccups but we can improve on that!! Probably get a bus or something…it’s easier to control a bus driver than 15 different drivers right?

• First trip with more than 70 pax

Too many participants – I find it difficult to remember many of them – though I know a number of them, saw many familiar faces which also went to the caving trip earlier but I do not have time to get to know them better as I have a big group of friends joining as well.

• First time tasting durian breed – Bamboo Leg

The most popular “Musang King” has been taken by 1 of the participants – he bough the whole basket – selling @ RM13/kg. I think easily the whole load of baskets weighs more than 30kg. WOW! That means about RM390.00. The durian seller introduced another breed – Bamboo Leg which costs about RM8/kg. I bought 2 @ 4kg & it costs me RM32.00. But the taste is just as good as “Musang King” – bittersweet. The only difference is “Musang King” flesh is very yellow whereas “Bamboo Leg” is light yellow/beige.

• First time being so up, close & personal with the super luxury cars – Lamborghini, Ferraris, Skyline etc….

There was a convoy of super luxury cars parked at the Caltex Station which is our meet-up point. Wow! I thought they were also going to Lata Berembun…anyway…the first thing we do was taking pics with the car….So KIASU!!

For your information, Lata Berembun is located near Raub Pahang & is quite popular to local people. This is my first trip there & I really enjoyed the 4WD………

Gua Batu Maloi Caving Adventure – 18 JUL 2010

Joined my friends to Gua Batu Maloi for caving adventure – we have more than 40 pax car pooling to the place. We paid RM80 per pax includes guide fees, breakfast, lunch & transportation. It was fun but I got some minor injuries & bruises at my knees, arms & legs….I don’t think I’ll go again for 2nd time though..it’s good for 1 time experience……We have to crawl, climb, sliding, gliding, walking, swimming to complete the adventure…..The journey inside the cave is roughly about 4 hours. It rained heavily once we have climbed out from the caves – we were so lucky it didn’t rain while we still inside…….All of us soaked in wet clothing & it’s raining – so cold. The setback there is there’s no proper maintainance of the public toilet – this caves looked abandoned – not many people went there. But it was a FUN day.

We gather at Taman Connaught for dim sum breakfast before starting our journey, we reached Gua Batu Maloi about 10.30a.m & the guide give us a short briefing before we start our adventure. Then the organizer, Peter lead us to do some stretching coz he said we gonna stretch a lot inside the caves. About 11plus, we started our journey inside the cave & we came out about 3p.m

The best part is Danell Lee, Malaysian Idol Season 2 winner & 1 of the popular local singer & TV Host is also in our group so we didn’t waste the opportunity to take photos with him. He’s quite friendly & approachable guy.

I've written more blog but it's shorter in content......sometimes when i read back my old blog entries, I've realized how much I've changed & grow since then...how my perception has changed & the way I look at things also changed.....

All in all, they have a very effective coach who unite all team members to rise above the occasion & give all out for the glory of the country....Undeniable, all of Spain team members are very talented but with the guidance of the coach, he brings out the best of all the team members.....

Viva Espana - Hail the new World Champion

Spain is the newly crowned World Champion - they really deserved the cup. I didn't watched the whole game - just about 10mins of the EXTRA TIME but I know they gonna win it. Coz in the 10mins that I watched, they kept attacking the Netherlands & their passing is superb.....I'm so happy that they won it. Though I lost $$$ on the betting coz they did not score during the 90mins full time but I felt so happy for them.....SPAIN the new WORLD CHAMPION & the 8th country in the world to lift the prestigious trophy.

2. Fried Fish...dunno what's the name of the fish but very fresh...

All dishes are so yummy.....I took almost 2 hours to complete all the cooking...but it's worth it...coz I've done it on my own effort - should have cook more often & start baking already....GAMBATE!!!

I didn't watched the game coz when I watched the game, my favourite team lost...So decided not to watch & sleep...Ha ha ....SPAIN WIN!!!Hip hip Hooray....I first came to know Spain as a good footballing country during WORLD CUP 2002 in KOREA/JAPAN. At first, I saw the goalkeeper, IKER CASILLAS....WOW So handsome & good looking....That's when I start loving the SPAIN team...Waiting for their action on the GRAND FINALS!!!Go Go Go SPAIN!!!

Argentina vs Germany & Brazil vs Holland

This is the 2nd World Cup match that I watched & I believe everyone would agree if I say this is the best game in the World Cup....The 2 teams is so hyper charge-up & energetic...All play beautiful attacking game & fast counter-attack. Germany deserves the win though I support Argentina - they played a good game - It's just so unfortunate that they can't find the net. BRILLIANT!!!!SUPERB!!!!.....Nice....BEST & the score is 4 - 0.

On the other hand, Brazil LOST to Holland - that's the first match that I watched during the World Cup. Holland is a better team & Brazil not playing their best game...I went out to watched the game with my friends at a German Restaurant - which is packed with people. Seriously I think it's a fixed game coz too many people betting on Brazil to win....And Brazil's team lack of discipline as I see they always shouted at the referee.... NO DISCIPLINE & NO REAL TEAMWORK...SIGH....But anyway, they are still my favourite team & I believe they will emerge as Champions in 4 years time when they host the next WORLD CUP in 2014. Hopefully by that time, I have earned enough $$$$ to watch it live in BRAZIL...WooHoo!

Now waiting for the Semi-finals between Uruguay & Holland & Germany & Spain.....Many people predict the final will be HOLLAND vs GERMANY...What's ur pick?

KL International Marathon 27 June 2010

5KM Fun Run - that's the category which I took part this morning. Woke up early in the morning, 4.20a.m, have my breakfast & shower, I drove to Taman Segar Leisure Mall to take the Rapid KL...But I missed the bus. I took a normal Rapid KL bus to Kotaraya & walked to Dataran Merdeka. By the time I reached there, the 42km, 21km & 10km event has been flagged off. I meet up with my friend there & lepak-lepak around to "kap chai" while waiting for our event flag off @ 8.00a.m. According to the official website, there're more than 16,000 participants this year, can you imagine that many??? Well as for me, I started with running, but i slowed down to walking before the 1km mark. I can't run but i can walk.....It's not so difficult coz I can manage to finish the walk in less than an hour time. I feel great, that's why I decided maybe next year can join the 10km run. Always set higher target for myself, start with the easy one first & gradually take the longer route....I think this will be good. I saw many many older people joining the full & half marathon, some uncles in 50's & 60's, they are damn fit...really salute them.....Mostly are regulars @ marathon events, I think some are belongs to certain running clubs coz they join in a big group. It's good to have interest groups training together for events. It must be FUN...cheering for each other......

All in all, a good experience for me & I learned that I'm still physically fit (my standard)...LOL!

It's June now....another 2 weeks plus will be the ending of H1 2010. I believe now everyone is so excited with the World Cup competition which has just started. I can see the excitement everywhere....people wearing their favourite team jersey, stalls & shopping centres doing promotion on the souveniors etc.....mamak stalls & pub organised viewing in the giant screen for fans....In short, it's the hottest thing happening in the world now...All other problem can be put aside first. Talking about World Cup, my favourite team will be Brazil. I love Spain too....Hopefully they will win the Cup this year....Who's your favourite team? Another 6 months to go before the closing chapter of 2010. I hope I can achieve my other goals which I've set for myself....especially my career goals.

Today, I really make a big mistake by being very rude to my superior....I'm actually angry over an article which he passed to me - probably i interpreted it wrongly, probably his intention is different & is for my good. But I just got so offended after reading the article - partly maybe he's just directing the article to me & not to all. I thought if the article is so good & can benefit everyone, why he just passes the copy to me alone.....Puzzled!

There were series of events earlier which makes me feel that he's sending a message to me through the article. Anyway, whatever that has been done cannot be undone so I apologised to him through an SMS just now & will meet him to discuss about my rude remarks.

I learned my mistake - I'm so blunt & direct.....This is not the way to communicate to our bosses.....Not sure how long I can survived here though....

I've moved to Cheras now & it is also the start of new life @ new place with new cycle. Gone are the convenience & comfortable PJ....now I need to go out earlier to work & also to go through traffic jams at selected area...Travelling time to work used to be less than 30 minutes, now is more than an hour, travelling distance is about 10km, now is about 30km. This is only Day One...wondering how long can I survive....something need to be change soon....

Goodbye PJ & Hello Cheras

In 2 days time, I'm saying goodbye to PJ & hello to Cheras...dunno what to expect yet...Cheras still very new to me @ this moment...I'm so used to PJ...I've been staying in this area for such a long time & used to it already...It's so convenient coz there're many access road to every part of Klang Valley....Furthermore, it's nearer to my workplace, less than 20 mins driving time. From Cheras, I think I need at least 1 hr driving time & the jam is killing...which means I've to go to work by 6.30a.m the lastest.

Still packing now....so many things to pack....

Cooling Up @ Genting Highlands

The weather was so hot for the past few weeks & it's so cooling up there @ Genting Highlands for the weekends...The trip supposed to be a post Expedition Mt. Kinabalu gathering, however many could not make it as all are busy people....in the end only 6 of us went up...4 colleagues plus 2 of their spouses. Indeed it's a good choice coz we're cooling up there.....it was so damn hot @ KL/PJ.

As usual, Genting Highlands still packed with people - be it @ the casino, outdoor theme park or just merely spending time up there with family & friends & there's concert almost every weekend......it's my first overnight trip there.....& best part of it...all 6 of us overnight in a room. Thank you to Agnes & Richard who redeemed the room using their Genting points & also pay for our dinner using their valuable point. I think they must have accumulated for all the points for quite sometime. Really BIG THANK YOU....

Where goes the fighting spirit of our team? We lost out in 3 games to China during last night Thomas Cup semi-finals. I can't see their fighting spirit & burning desire to get the trophy back. Almost 99% of the stadium were filled with our supporters which keep on cheering @ our team but they lost out tamely...all in straight sets. OMG!!!

I really salute team China for their superb performance in front of the ferocious crowd..We are very loud & noisy but they have the mental strength to overcome this & win it in just 3 games. ADMIRE THEM...Our boys need to learn from them. Let us wait another 2 years to get back the trophy.

I'm working for over 2 years in my present company & enjoyed good relationship with most of my colleagues. Recently since beginning of the year, 1 by 1 start leaving the company. Sigh! Why? I also thought of leaving...but they all left earlier than me???? Finally I did it.....I reached the peak at 0712hrs on 1 May 2010. Low's Peak @ 4095.2m the highest peak in South-East Asia - Mt. Kinabalu. I left my mark there.......

Anyone wana go to Khalil Fong's concert? It will be held at Arena of Stars Genting Highlands.

I love listening to Khalil singing live - superb. Not every singer who sing live is good....But he is damn good....

Ticket is reasonably priced but it's in Genting so 1 of the option is to stay overnight there which means have to fork out extra $$$$ for accommodation.....Thinking whether to go or not????

I feel buying a few hundred bucks ticket for concert is damn expensive .... better go travel....

Sigh!!!! Still thinking & considering....I have another 1 month to think before the ticket SOLD OUT@!

Next Destination - Siem Reap Angkor Wat

My next destination - Angkor Wat probably in Aug/Sept 2010. My mind always think of travel, travel & travel but never about my work....??????Very bad....After coming back from Expedition Mt. Kinabalu, I'll start planning for my Cambodia trip...so I have something to look forward again...yes & it's my passion - travelling. How I wish I can travel & don't need to work, my work is to travel & I earn $$$ while I travel...So nice!!! Keep on dreaming..1 day my dream will come true!

Final itinerary confirmed - Expedition Mt. Kinabalu 2010

At last got the final itinerary confirmation from my agent in KK - however there are still some minor changes need to be done. Anyway, I'm happy with the itinerary.....For this trip, we have to fork out about RM1100+ for the whole package excluding flight tickets - so total will be approximately RM1300++. Luckily our flight is cheap - RM179 return - good deal right! Plus some pocket $$$ for shopping. I hope all my group members happy with this all-in rate coz earlier on my agent told me is RM995. I just hope everyone is happy with my arrangement. This is my first time organizing for such a big group - total 16 of us. Usually when i go travel, I only arrange for 2 or 3 pax. This is the biggest group I had - I just want everyone to enjoy this trip.

Today, start to pack bit by bit - I don't know where to start pack, I just list down all the items that I wana bring - Windbreaker, gloves, headlight, ear protector, warm-clothing, hiking shoes, energy bar, chocolates, drinking water, 100 plus, other clothings.....etc blah blah blah....

It's another 4 days to go - EXCITEMENT KICK-IN already...As the days come nearer, my confidence level also go higher - probably because I can see myself progressing through all the trainings I had.

YES, WE GONNA MAKE IT TO THE TOP....SEE you from the TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN!!!

KL International Marathon 2010

I've registered for the KL International Marathon which is scheduled on 27 June 2010. They are targeting at about 18,000 participants to fill up the few categories - 42km (FULL MARATHON), 21km (HALF MARATHON), 10km, 5km Fun Run.

As for me, as a beginner I join the 5km Fun Run....this will be my 3rd marathon in KL - my 1st was the Subang Jaya Run 2-3 years ago - 7km, 2nd was Putrajaya Night Run - 7km in Feb 2010 & this is my 3rd attempt.

I'm tempted to join this run as I did not joined the run last year....I've registered for volunteer but did not fulfilled it as I'm working on Saturday & the date actually clashed with my Skytrek activities....So this year I'll make sure that I'll complete the RUN!!!!

Countdown to Expedition Mt. Kinabalu

It is only a week away from my expedition Mt. Kinabalu 2010. After all my trainings, I hope I'm fit to conquer the highest peak in Southeast Asia. Many friends who had successfully climb up Kinabalu advised me on what to bring, what to expect etc.....I would like to extend a big TQ for their sharing as with their info, I can at least know what to expect.

Climbing Ah Pek Hill with some of my group members on 11 April 2010 (part of our training) - damn difficult - whole body aching

Well, Mt. Kinabalu is not a very difficult mountain for climbing as they have an established trail already, the 2 famous 1 will be Mersilau & Timpohon trail. My group will climb via Mersilau trail which is longer by about 1km+ but more scenic. Timpohon is shorter but mostly in steps which i think is quite difficult as some of the steps is very wide.

I hope with ample rest & strong mental attitude, all of us can reached the Low's Peak & watch the sunrise there......I hope my body can take this....I'm not a fit person but I have a strong determination & after all the trainings, I realised that I loved to complain at the very beginning but i didn't give up & keep on going & as I kept going, I'm stronger....yes, I'm a long distance person....So wish me & my team good luck & see you on top of the world.

Another accident in 2010

Today I banged into a BMW......Of all the cars I banged into a BMW, luckily no major damages to the car - only minor scratches & broken car plate. Sigh! The driver of the car is quite a nice lady, she called up the workshop & checked the price & asked me to pay RM50 for the damages. I hope no other damages to the car. I also can't remember her car plate already, I just apologised to her repeatedly. No damages to my car. I just passed my call card to her & get her contact & hope the case close. The lady said I have the same surname as her husband, pray hard that this case will close & i don't need to pay additional.

I had a dream....it's quite unusual for me to dream as most of the time I can sleep well. I don't dream that often, only once in a very long while...It's a signal for me ....change is coming my way...I believe it.

My dream yesterday was about me moving house to a new place - an apartment (not new) with some damages on the flooring. Used to be tenanted by other people, their belonging still left at 1 of the room. Don't quite like the place & I'm staying with my sisters. I thought this is our new house - we have purchased a house (still under constrution). Suddenly it just struck my mind that this is not my new house, we are staying temporary until our new house completed. Phew....What a dream?

I checked online & found out that dreaming about moving house means
moving through differing aspect of my personality. Your personality is seen "where you live" & so to move house speaks of changes of lifestyle related to my belief, personality, thoughts. You are evolving & moving into a higher or different area of growth where changes are big & full of meaning. Huh! What an explanation....

It's just less than 2 mth before my expedition KK trip happens...Just went for a few trainings so far wih my fellow KK kaki. Have to buck up & train up our stamina....I believe that all of us will manage to reach to to the peak...I'm having fun training & hiking with them...Most of them are stronger & fitter than me but I believe I CAN CONQUER YOU MT. KINABALU.....Buck up buck up buck up....I can I can I can...So looking forward to the date & achieve another goal set by me. 14 Feb 2010 - First day of CNY & also Valentine's Day. The day started with all of us dressing up to visit our relatives. Usually we have this big gathering of relatives at 1 of my aunt's house...Easily we can have more than 50 people around. And all the angpows exchange between all the relatives....so busy.

After lunch, we went to our grandma's house @ Kampung - another round of angpows exchange.

Usually at this time, the auntie & uncle, cousins will ask when is ur turn to give angpow? When are u getting married? Fast fast get married lo, u're not young anymore etc....Stressful la.....I believe most of the ppl oso facing the same problem....Ha haha....

But before we went to our relatives place, we will have our annual family photo session - done it for the past few years.

And during this time, our flowers in the garden blossom into full bloom. So beautiful.....signs of good thing/events happening soon. Good news...Yeah.....good news coming soon. Tiger year will be another great year for us.

I have 4 days off for CNY......drove back home on Friday evening after work with my sister. The traffic starts to build up along the highway coz many people also going back to their respective hometowns. Normally we use North-South Highway & this main highway is connecting all the major towns from North to South...that's why it's congested especially during festive seasons. I'm driving up north. We started our journey about 6p.m from PJ & reached home about 9.30p.m - 3 hrs plus drive.

Saturday is already New Year Eve & my mom woke up early to prepare all the foods for offering to our ancestors. After the praying session, we have our usual reunion lunch....we usually have reunion lunch rather than dinner. After lunch, dad gave us angpows - it's a tradition to give angpows for the younger & single members of the family.

In the afternoon, we either gamble or sleeping. Then it's time for dinner already....After dinner, we went to town for last minute shopping but we found out that some parts of Teluk Intan facing black-out. Seems like for the past 2 days also same. So we came back & continue gambling. By 11.30p.m, we "sou dong" & clean up our place - sweeping & mopping the floor before the clock strikes 12a.m....It's a tradition that Chinese families cannot sweep the floor on the 1st day of CNY as the luck will be all swept away.

Reason: A sifu told me that my old Chinese name is not good & advised me to change name hence this my new name.

洪僥伶 - pronounced as hong jiao(第三音）ling（第四音）

To make it simple, I'm using Jolene

as my English name as it's easier to remember (the pronounciation is quite similar)

Hopefully with this new name, more luck will be coming my way...

in another simple words (jiao means lucky) & (ling means order) - that's my understanding of the words ....。。。

I love travelling, i start to travel in 2003 -what i mean is holidays! Holiday using my own hard-eraned $$$$. I started travelling for holidays after I joined my ex-company. I remember my first trip was to Langkawi. I won a 3D2N hotel voucher in Langkawi so i make trip down there with my friend. We took a bus there. Not sure whether Air Asia has started their around operations then. It's in March 2003 & it's the first time we travel together. We rented a car to drive the island & the car broke down on the second day. I remember my friend was so scared but i wasn't scared at all. The car even broke down at sloppy area. Huh what a holiday but i enjoyed it very much.

My second holiday is to Bangkok in year 2004. I went with the same friend. I still remember that year - we have the bird flu in the Asean. Nevertheless, I still make the trip to Bangkok. It's an eye opener experience - 1st time going overseas. Didn't know how to bargain. The guide is quite nice & friendly. Still remember went to this "Tiger show" which actually means "Thai Girl Show". It just didn't cross my mind then but our guide really bring us to this "Red Light District" - very rundown type of place. It's an eye opener show - can't describe it. It's a pick-up joint too. We missed the Chatuchak weekend market due to the bird flu disease. It's better not to go then.

The 3rd holiday is to Beijing in 2005. I went to the MATTA Fair with my sis & saw this very cheap package. So we decided to buy & visit Beijing. It's an 8 day tour & we're travelling with a group of people - about 20plus of us. The first day we arrive, temperature soared to 40degree - it was so hot. And I'm very impressed with the Beijing Underground City. This very cheap package means a lot of shopping stop as the guide earns commisions from there. We bought a lot if things ( maybe we got conned on some of the items ) - anyway it's another experience for me. I fall sick when I came back.

In 2006, I went to Kota Kinabalu - i just love this place. The people there are warm & friendly & the places are interesting. I didn't climb Mt. Kinabalu coz I'm not prepared but i went to many places - Pulau Tiga, Pulau Manukan, white water rafting at Kiulu River, Poring Hotspring, Kundasang, Tip of Borneo, Pesta Keamatan (Harvest Festival) etc. I lost my camera (sob sob) many interesting pics just gone....so sad.. It's my sis camera so i need to fork out $$ to buy another new camera for her. $$ just gone like that.

Well, every places that I went makes my life more colourful as I experienced more in life - i see more & learn more....& makes me yearn more to travel around the world. The world is so big out there, so many things to see - I don't want to confine myself in Malaysia. Let's go travel........

Achieved 1 of my major goals 2009

Happy to share that I've achieved 1 of my major goals last year - purchase a house- it's still under construction & expected to complete by end of the year. It's not my own yet coz still under mortgage but eventually will become mine. Now time to save more $$$ to pay off the mortgage faster & to buy furnitures & other items for the new house....Excited.....

Chinese New Year 2010

In less than a month, the Chinese in the country will be celebrating Chinese New Year. This year Chinese New Year also coincides with Valentines Day...So it's a double celebration - 2 in 1. We are welcoming the year of Tiger.....a lot of ppl saying Tiger Year is not a good year for marriage blah blah blah....But is it really true? Anyway, I'm lLooking forward to see all the nice & beautiful CNY deco at the malls around town. Since last December 2009 till now, I feel like am so busy but dunno wat am busy with? It's like non-stop working or filled with some activities....I need some rest, more rest & more rest.....Working 5 1/2 days/week is tiring, i really wish to have shorter working days - now considering to move on to other job coz i think it's about time to move on coz can't see any future here.....Why waste time? Time never waits for me....I need to chase after them...Okay enough of complaining......It's time to do some shopping for CNY.

Just curious to know your answer? I was given a survey form which includes the question above from my boss....... just wondering what would be your answer....A few of my friends just answer "I DESERVE IT"....How about u? Sometimes, being an employer & being an employee has really conflicting points of view.

My answer - it's a motivating factor. If company is making profits, we should get more BONUS....

Just like to wish everyone Happy New Year 2010.......May this new year bring you new hope, new achievement & blessed with love, happiness, health & wealth.

Spend my New Year Eve in Langkawi Island with my family....it's great coz we rarely have this opportunity to travel together.

Langkawi is an island in the northern state of Malaysia & it's a duty free shopping paradise... that means you can get cheap liquors & chocolates there. It's really very very cheap there. We bought a lot of chocolates & a few bottles of wine (my family doesn't like to drink).

A lot of tourists ( foreigners & locals) there.....i remember the last few times that I came, there were not many tourists probably due to low season. Langkawi is a good place to visit with family & friends coz there are so many things to do....Eat, Island Hopping, Swim at beaches, Visit some places of attraction etc....
